3DS online sendoff

Id like to get 3 more people together on someones town or the island at around 6:30-6:45 PM EST so we can send off the 3Ds online services when they shut down at 7PM EST. current time as of posting is 6:12 PM EST. edit: the times were weong

i thought i had a working connection because i could see people online on my friends list and my 3DS appears to be connected to the internet. i just ran to my gates and got this error code:

Error Code: 002-0110
This service has been discontinued.
