  • It's coming back by popular demand! The Bell Tree World Championship! After three years, our grand gaming event will return on May 18th with ten Nintendo Switch games to play, both competitively and casually. Signups for the event are now open as explained in the new Bell Tree World Championship 2024 thread!

What part of the Nintendo Switch do you find to be the most satisfactory?

Oh, yeah! I forgot to mention one other thing I thought was great about the Switch generation. It's...pretty obvious by now. I can't even imagine how the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC would've gone for me if Kieran and Carmine (especially Kieran) didn't exist...

The eShop often having sales for big name games for a huge discount. I got Saints Row IV for under $5 and Yooka Laylee for $3. I got most of my digital games because they were on sale.

That the original Switch can be both handheld and docked.

The overall texture and shape of the Switch Lite. Had the dockable Switch been as comfortable and satisfying to hold as the Lite model it would have been the perfect console.

I got Stardew Valley when it was on sale and I got a lot of fun hours put into it. There's so much shovelware on the Switch eshop it's insane, but if you're willing to wade through all of that you definitely can find some fun games. I wouldn't have found SDV if I hadn't taken 10-15 minutes scrolling through the shop.

Mario Rabbids (the 1st one) can be found on the Eshop for like dollars when its on sale. It's worth a try. I found it a lot of fun.

I just got Assassin’s Creed Enzo Collection for $16. I only need to get ACIII to complete the collection. I got the other games whenever they went on sale. Also got a majority of the Lego games because of eShop sales.

Very nice! Is ACIII the one where it's based on the American Revolutionary War? I always wanted to see how that one held up with the advance of tech. It seemed unfitting when the other games were based during pre-gun era. For lack of a better word lol.

I am not sure. I’m not very familiar with the plots of the games in the series.
