Marina is the only original villager on my island that stayed. We planned on a woodland animal theme but everyone got attached to Marina so we decided she had to stay. She shares a yard with my 4 yr old and he calls her his "best friend." I love her pink color and singing hobby. Adorable. Eventually we'll get Happy Home Paradise and update her house. She's the only one with the original home setup.
I have managed to replace some of her furniture though from buying it and gifting her new furniture, including replacing her bed with a mermaid bed!
I still miss our first lazy villager, Benjamin. I loved his dirt floor and pear furniture. We traded him for Beau and while Beau is adorable and funny and has the same personality type it seems like he hasn't said the same sweet lines that Benjamin did. Benjamin just seemed so sweet and he's the only villager I really miss that has left.
I got Happy Home Paradise today! So excited to start it! I decided to wait to get it until I met some goals- the everyflower garden, finished the fossil section of the museum, 5-star island, dream villager list.
I'm loving snowy season. Feeling very cozy when I play.
I started a goal to exercise at the beginning of the year and the jock villagers no longer annoy me. Moved Bam back to my island.
I unlocked being able to design my villagers' homes from HHP and I've redone Marina's and invited Bruce back and redid his too. I like his cranky personality but I hated his house so I moved him out until I could change it. Looks like a nice, tidy bachelor pad now. I'll post pictures later.
