If Lego decided to re-release every Bionicle Set, here’s what I would get and what I wouldn’t get.
  • 2001-2003 - I would pretty much get all of the sets released during the Mata Nui era. Especially the bigger sets (the Rahi, which had five sets in 2001, three in 2002, and two in 2003). High priorities also go to the Toa, the Bohrok, and the Rahkshi. The only things I would skip are the mask collections from 2002 and later.
  • 2004-2005 - I’ll probably stop at 2004, as that would be the last year of new sets I would collect. At my lowest tolerance, I may not even get the 2004 sets. Even if I would tolerate both 2004 and 2005 sets, I wouldn’t collect them all. Namely, the smaller sets and the non-Technic sets.
  • 2006-2008 - At my highest tolerance, I would get the 2006 sets due to the incorporation of lights. Except that light-up features don’t last as long as the action features. Everything from 2007 and later, I won’t get.
  • 2009-2010 - No. Just no.
What makes the older sets better than the newer sets is the moving parts and gears, and not studs with shooters. Even if it’s just one action, the action still had several parts needed to make such action.

Got my dailies done in Genshin and did one trounce domain 🙂. I played a little Animal Crossing; might play some more though not sure what I’ll do yet. I got a lot of storage cleanup to do. Maybe I’ll try decorating in HHP. Been a long time since I did that. 🙂

There are games (like persona) that I just can't play unless I'm alone with headphones and can truly focus.

This means it might be days or weeks in between sessions, but better to enjoy myself rather than deal with constant interruptions.

Because of my nature, it’s common for me to be up at midnight, but tonight, I broke the streak. I slept up the midnight hour completely.

Does anyone else here really hate “please understand, small indie developer” jokes?

Also, do I give off the vibes of someone who could pull off black nail polish?

A vulture was outside of our window early this morning. Intimidating looking creatures.

Stupid stuff that happened to me in Super Mario 64 yesterday 🙃:

- Bowser in the Dark World’s Red Coins. The stage isn’t even hard, but the stress of having to get every coin all over again if I die makes me slip up. And then wanting to be done with the stage makes me slip up as well. Special shout out to the tragic moment where I did get the star, but then I hit my head at a wall and fell to my doom before I could pick it up. It only took a few more tries to do it successfully and beat Bowser after that, luckily
- I did the slide in Cool Cool Mountain… and then when I was about to get the star… I slid off a cliff and died because of the ice. Should I have my video gaming privileges revoked or not? It wasn’t that hard to do it again, especially considering the shortcut that also has two 1-ups
- I died twice trying to do a skip in the secret slide in Peach’s Castle. At least dying on a secret star doesn’t make you lose a life
- Also, in Bowser in the Dark World, I died trying to cross the narrow bridge at the very beginning on my first attempt. Oof 😵‍💫
- I kept falling down the tower at the top of Whomp’s Fortress because of the platforms moving in and out

You may have noticed that I didn’t say anything about the basement stages that I should have unlocked after beating Bowser. I didn’t play them yet because I haven’t made that much progress on the first floor stages, like how I didn’t even play Cool Cool Mountain yet.

Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride are totally gonna kick my ass lol. I need to start investing in the skill department.

I’m not sure what’s the big deal with this thing people do where they’re typing normally and then there’s this garbled mess of letters in-between. I’m trying to read the text and when stuff like that gets in the way, it drives me a little nuts asdfghjkl

I was watching an anime review for Merman in my Tub and someone actually said that. It was cringe.

I read a news story about a fired high-school athletic director getting revenge on the principal by making an AI voice recording of him saying racist and antisemitic things. Thankfully they figured it was AI and the guy is in trouble now.
While AI certainly has its benefits, I feel there will more news stories about people using it to frame each other.
