Which egg(s) are you going for?

Originally I was most interested in the Togepi Egg (a long time favourite of mine) but now that the egg hunt is over I think I am going to get the Aurora Egg instead. I think it will be easier to buy a Togepi Egg from someone else later down the line vs trying to buy an Aurora Egg later. If I was smarter at finding eggs I would have gotten them both.

Aurora egg!! I actually have enough currency to get it now (!!!!), but I’m waiting to buy it at a specific time tonight! The aurora egg has been my second biggest collectible dream after the crescent-moon glow wand for 4 years, I can’t believe that I’ll finally have one in my inventory tonight!!!?

If I’m miraculously able to earn enough currency for another 16 eggs egg, I might try to see if anyone would be willing to trade a nightmare egg for an aurora. If not, maybe I’ll just get a second aurora egg for myself. If I don’t have enough currency for that (which is likely lol), I’ll probably go with a zen or chao egg, or try to trade for a pastel disco ball egg!

Figured I’d update on this now that I’ve spent all of my egg currency (minus my 2 leftover eggs… curse u #8 ). Like I planned, I got my aurora egg the night I posted the above, and I’m still feeling very

about it !!! I never, ever thought that I’d have one; the aurora egg felt like an unobtainable dream for so long, I still can’t believe I actually have one now ???

However, instead of getting a zen, chao or 2nd aurora egg, or trying to trade for a nightmare or pastel disco egg, I got myself a galaxy egg !! I thought it’d be a miracle if I had even 12 eggs after the puzzle and any potential bonus eggs were distributed, but I actually ended up with more eggs than I thought I would! I’d have enough for a galaxy egg if I participated in the egg decorating contest, so that’s what I decided to do !! All of the lineup ideas I came up with for the nightmare egg worked with the galaxy egg as well, so it all worked out!

I know they’re just pixels on a forum at the end of the day, but as silly and small as it might seem to some, it’s not silly and small to me. There’s something so special and healing about having a deemed impossibility become a reality, even if it’s just a pixel on a forum. :’) 2024 is such a special year for TBT, and having one of my biggest collectible dreams come true has made this year so special for me personally as well! I’m so happy, and so excited to see what the rest of TBT’s 20th year has in store !!

Luckily, I was able to get the two that I wanted the most which were dreamy and Aurora. A very sweet friend also gifted me the ladybug egg!!! I was really totally content just getting those two though I know there are quite a few I am still missing. Eventually, I’ll get my hands on the disco, red pikman, paradise planning, Zen, spring bloom, sweetheart and glitched to complete my eggie collection.

Still debating if I should get the galaxy egg and sell the rest or get a nightmare and pastel disco egg. What to do ?!

Ideally, I'd love to acquire the Galaxy Easter Egg. Don't know if I can pull it off though.

Failing that, I'd aim for some combination of Zen Easter Egg, Chao Easter Egg, Eevee Easter Egg, and/or Sakura Easter Egg.

I did thankfully get the Zen Easter Egg from a trade with DaCoSim. I then went through a lot of back and forth in regards to my own egg currency over whether to stick to my original plan to get the Galaxy Easter Egg or if I should get the Frost Easter Egg instead. Ultimately decided to stick to the plan and got the Galaxy Easter Egg.
