I take mine to hotels, restaurants, holidays and Nan and grandads

But I mainly play it in restaurants because I think I feel tense when I’m around other people I don’t know because I have autism and it just helps keep me calm or if I don’t want to bring it out I’ll just go on my phone.

I keep both my DS and 3DS in my bedroom...and both are ready to play whenever I might get the urge. But, I don't take them out with me. If I know that I'll be going somewhere boring or have a lot of free time, I will just bring my Switch...or read a book or something. Switch might not be a proper "pocket size" but I still take it here and there. - If I want to play something truly pocket sized and concealable, I will bring my Pocket-Go, which is basically a really tiny emulator that looks like someone shrunk a GBA. - It's so tiny that your hand basically covers it up while you play and people can't really even tell that you're playing something. Lol

I took my 3DS on vacation to Cape May, New Jersey the first years I had it and the girls took theirs so we played together. Then things changed when they got phones, they didn't bring their 3DS. They had phones. So I brought my iPad instead of my 3DS. the console I brought recently was the Nintendo Switch. That's the one I use now. I still have my 3DS.

No not anymore. The 3DS came out during high school for me so I definitely took it to school. After that I went to College and I’d also take it from time to time. Now I just go to and from work so there’s no point anymore. Not enough people around me to be worth it plus the amount of people trying to streetpass anymore has dropped off significantly.

Ah well was fun while it lasted.

i honestly haven’t even touched my 3ds in over a year, so no lol. i loved bringing it out with me when i was a kid, though. i didn’t do it as much as i wanted to since i almost always forgot to grab it before leaving the house lmao, but when i did remember i’d bring it with me when i went to school, went on a walk etc. i didn’t streetpass a whole lot of people, but i was happy with the streetpasses i did get. i had a lot of fun with them in the mii plaza haha

Definitely not, I don't even use it anymore! I certainly miss the golden age of Streetpass, though.

I used to get more while in the city but only just turned my device on again. One thing I do is take it to work as well and have messages like “Welcome to [Work Name]!” to greet anybody that comes in. Worked great when I worked at the big hospital in town but not so much now.

I was inspired to do that for work when I found a place that had a Mii to meet all the time from a local ferry worker. Ever since then, I just keep my 3DS on all the time to hopefully make somebodies day while at the doctor's office.

Last time I took my 3DS (I still have two, neither are for sale) out of home to play on the go was last September. And I don’t think it will be the last time I’ll do that.

I used to take mine almost everywhere with me. I haven't carried it around much at all since high school though. But I do occasionally boot it up to play a game or two that I'm nostalgic about. I really miss the streetpass stuff. It was always so much fun playing all the minigames and seeing everyone's houses in Animal Crossing.

i used to! and i used to love seeing all the streetpasses i'd get ;u; now i only really take mine with me when i go travelling/on vacation. and that's more the case of needing something to do on long car rides. i think i don't take any of my 3ds and about with me cause i'm afraid of misplacing them and/or they get damaged somehow. i'm not too tech savvy so worst case scenario i could have them repaired, but i'm still incredibly afraid of taking them anywhere day to day ;u;

i used to!! defo for streetpassing people and earning 10,000 steps for coins so i could play games on the mii plaza thing. but i sold my 3DS back in april. remember hitting up digby on animal crossing to get various items. and puzzle swap!!

i hadn't played nintendogs and cats in a hot minute, and found a street pass message from one of my frendos from yonks ago when i found my 3DS ^^

Other is probably the most accurate??? I'd only take it out when I was intending to play vs collecting street passes. I did get a handful while out, but not many (expected), though I did end up passing by the same person two or three times on the subway before which was pretty cool (I guess we had a similar commute and ended up close enough on the same train).

Though two exceptions. I did intentionally walk around with it on when I was in NYC for all those sweet Nintendo store street passes. As well, I took it with me to Japan and kept it in my bag when I was travelling about several times ( this was in 2018-19), hit the caps way too quick without constantly checking so I didn't get as many street passes as I realistically could have. Really made me feel like I was missing out that I got more streetpasses in a day then I would get in several months back home. u_u

I used to alot, some places near me were those streetpass spots so even if nobody was there right then, I'd still get a few streetpasses! Nowadays I don't anymore.

If I went to an event like ComicCon, I'd bring it in hopes of getting some though

I'd love to pick up an 2DS XL one day, they're just the prettiest in my eyes.

I used to take my 3ds to school with me almost everyday when I was in highschool! There were even other people that took their 3ds too and I was able to get streetpass from them! I don't go out as often as I used to but I would bring my 3ds with me depending on where I'm going. Like I would not bring it to the store but I might bring it to the mall with me.

I stopped after early college. I'd get maybe one or two streetpasses a week back then, and eventually, since I don't play too much, I just stopped. I used to bring it to anime cons and stuff though, back in its prime days, and man I'd get so many! I really miss that a lot. The 3ds streetpass system was such a cool and fun concept. Makes me wish there was something similar for the switch!
